MirandaDreamFit started as a way for me to motivate myself, and eventually became a way for me to help others reach their goals.
Overcoming my own challenges
I was born with a hole in my heart, a condition called Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD). From a young age my mom encouraged me to be active. Having a healthy heart was vital to my well being with the possibility of open heart surgery in my future. My fitness focus growing up was dance. I eventually became a member of the Dance Team at Western Michigan University.
My love and passion for fitness continued to flourish in college. I connected with a mentor– an athletic coach, who truly believed in me, changing my perspective, and my life, forever.
I began to feel a true connection to those who were enduring their own challenges. I could relate to the struggle they faced on their personal journey, and I began to discover my own passion for helping others. The drive for helping others consumed my mind.

I teach others how to have confidence, self discipline, and believe in themselves. Integrating these mindsets into your life allows you to become more successful, not only on your fitness journey, but in everyday life. My main goal is to teach self empowerment, through self development. I want my clients to be able to say that I made a difference in their life.

When wanting to improve your overall well being, holding yourself accountable is the key tool to success. It’s setting small goals for yourself every day, and putting in the work to achieve those goals. Each accomplishment adds up, and when everything is said and done you will have achieved something great. Everyday is like a puzzle piece and when the puzzle is done, you can see the big picture–the dream you've achieved. Stand back while gazing in that mirror and be proud!

Results take time. Progress takes consistency. Train your body with intensity, fill your mind with positive thoughts, fuel your body with nutritious foods, and filter out toxic people and negativity from your life. Those who doubt your journey want you to doubt yourself. Use this energy to motivate you to succeed. Believe in yourself not only on your fitness journey, but in each and every day. A lot can change in a short amount of time with great effort. And when it does, you’ll find out just how strong you really are. Patience truly is a virtue. Your dreams can come true and I believe in you!

Confidence is honestly the most important and rewarding part of your fitness journey; gaining self-confidence and being comfortable in your own skin. I know what it's like to be afraid of weights, I know what it's like to feel uncomfortable in a gym. We all start somewhere, and it's easier said than done. I promise the more progress you see, the more comfortable you will feel in the gym and within yourself. I not only want to you to fall in love with the gym, but to truly fall in love with yourself.
